With so much going on in and around our planet Earth, it leaves one to think…what IS the most important thing to focus on right now? Well, let me tell you my opinion and it is only that. Last I knew, opinions were okay to voice as long as it does not denigrate or invalidate another. We CAN communicate fellow humans!
Here’s where things are really at: working out who you are and what you want the future to be starting with your intention. You know…why do you do what you do? or think what you think? The voices in the head can get a bit crazy at times and run in circles if you don’t take responsibility for them. Are you the master of your thoughts and emotions?
Are you the kind of person who lets another figure it out for himself? Or do you take the reins of your life and take full responsibility for not only WHO you are but for all the past AND the future? Yes, that’s where it’s really at.
It is Declaration Time for knowing who you are and where you are going, NOW this present moment. What kind of future you are creating for yourself and others? Intentionally creating the present moment, while forgiving and forgetting the past mis-takes…They are ‘mis-takes’ because you stole from yourself those precious creative moments. Okay….move on. Give to others if only it’s your good thoughts or a smile and then Receive…it is Universal Law. Give with no expectation of return. And when you do that, you are happy because you are making someone else happy. You are serving others, not serving self.
8 helpful things to do at this time:
Don’t get caught up in the emotional hype and drama going on around you; be aware, but distance yourself and be the Observer. Offer help where help is needed and wanted.
Focus on yourself and your spiritual journey. Practice it everyday. We have lots of time to do that now and no time like the present. Your spiritual journey is THE most important thing. Read, listen, laugh, sing, cry, whatever it is…Let Go and Let God/Source take over. Drop the ego as it serves only you
Stand up for your Truth and help others along the way to do so, too, with courage.
Treat others like you want to be treated, with dignity and respect.
Make a list of things you are grateful for and find something to add every day.
Get some kind of exercise during the day to get the blood going and circulating.
Eat healthier and eat less. Take care of yourself.
And finally, ask for help when needed; you needn’t walk alone.
People are alive to the degree that life has been granted to them and alive to the degree that he has granted life to himself and others. Or stated another way, grant life to yourself and others and life begets life.
We are here…we are alive this very moment. Look around and grant that same life that is in you to your possessions, appreciate those things, take care of those things that take care of you. Grant life to the community you live and work in, saying to yourself, ‘Hey, this is a great place to live and the people here are wonderful!’ The town and the people in it eventually will conform to the life you give it to that degree. Just think what a difference it would make starting with just idea.
This day grant life to yourself, to your family, to your home, to your possessions, to each other in the community…And the degree you grant that life into people and things is the degree of aliveness it becomes. Funny how things work out that way…but try it…do it each moment. As an artist and illustrator, I’ve got to breathe life into what I’m drawing or doing on canvas or it just won’t communicate to others. If I can’t do that, then to that degree, I have not accomplished my goal as an artist. You don’t have to have a degree from a major art school or to have studied under someone to create…just imbue LIFE into it…desire it, feel it, put emotions in it…and it’ll communicate and be alive to that degree. It’s amazing what things can happen from granting life to yourself and others.
So go out there and be your great self-GRANT LIFE! Help, support, play with, imagine, uplift, act with kindness…It is something which we can ALL do…and it is relatively simple.
Ever do things that you wonder if you did them or not? You don’t remember doing things because you set those things on automatic. You “forget” quite well so as to not remember them plus it puts you a frame of mind that you are really not “present”. And you aren’t, are you?
How many things in our environment do we set up to be on automatic instead of engaging those things in present time? Can machines do the work of active engagement or involvement? Perhaps some things are okay like setting the coffee pot to perk at 6AM to have your coffee ready when you get up. Or maybe it’s notokay. I am just tossing this idea out there. How about the more we do for ourselves, the more self-determined we are if done in present time? Knowing what you are doing when you are doing it is being present.
We can still “do” for ourselves, but if it isn’t actively engaged, then we are set on automatic. Any thoughts from YOU?
Have a great day….and DO check out the link just for fun!
