Superheroes on Super Bowl Sunday

You see them on TV and dressed up at parties…but just what is a superhero?  To me, a superhero is one that takes 1) life by the horns (is in command of life in a positive way) and 2) elevates his or her friends or groups of friends to even greater heights of goodness, honesty, truthfulness, and ethics besides vastly improving their abilities.

In taking life by the horns, it would actually be a person so endowed with life itself- a god or a goddess she would be.  There have been many superheroes throughout the ages, men like Einstein, Isaac Newton, Leonardo Da Vinci, Aristotle, and even Plato to top the list.  Can you think of some great superheroes that were female?  I bet we both can!  How about Madame Curie, Joan of Arc, or even Eleanor Roosevelt, Rosa Parks or even Harriet Tubman?  Certainly, and there is a vast majority of them.  We just never hear about them due to all the negativity that is put forth from the news, tabloids, etc.

And for 2 above-Like what abilities you might ask could this superhero improve?  Like being able to communicate better or perhaps getting along with others better. Perhaps giving the needed help in not solving the person’s problems, but putting the person in the position of helping to solve those problems themselves.  There are so many ways to help others without holding them down and keeping them at that particular station in life.

In all truthfulness, superheroes are not born, they are actually made.  Wouldn’t it be great if we as a culture could raise up a generation of superheroes?  It simply starts as a decision…a decision to be a superhero, growing in knowledge about what that entails and practicing those things, a willingness to help yourself and others and going out and doing it!

Can we raise up a generation of superheroes?

How To keep your favorite books in the library

With libraries ‘weeding’ books every 3-4 years based on their use in and out of the library, it came to mind that the best of the best of the minds of men are going to be in our libraries in the future.  Or will they? And who makes that determination?  If they are our public libraries, then is it just a select few that screen them or ‘weed them out based on their usage?  It is all based on numbers actually.  So the more the books that are checked out, the longer those books stay on the shelves.  It’s as simple as that.

It makes a good game though to have ‘Friends of the Library’ sell older ‘weeded’ books only for others to buy them and sell them at record highs because they are now in demand from scarcity.  Makes a good game, like I said.

I have my own personal library…and treasure certain authors.  Of course, when I don’t have them, then I can go online and get them when I need or want them.  So really, what’s the big deal?

Bottom line: If you have a favorite author or book in the public library, you might want to check the book out or pass that preference on to others so they can check it out, too, and often.  Keep your favorite books alive in the library!

Our God-given Human Rights

It’s never too late to express the desire within me that I wish everyone to know and act upon their God-given rights, their Human Rights.

Dec. 10th marked the 70th year that the founder, Eleanor Roosevelt, along with representatives from regions all over the world, formally adopted a document which was outlined by the United Nations.  These representatives laid out thirty fundamental rights that every human being on earth inherits simply because of who they are-Human.  This document became the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

First, some definitions:

We are Human meaning a member of the Homo Sapiens species; man, woman, child or person.

We have Rights meaning things to which You and I are responsible for and responsible for upholding- freedoms that are guaranteed and should not be taken for granted, simply because we are Human.

We have thirty Human Rights.  Do you know them?

How can we ensure that our Human Rights are being upheld if we do not know our rights?  Who or what entities or Organizations can help with this endeavor?  I can state it simply-those persons/people or those groups that recognize that we have these guaranteed Human Rights and which help to ensure that Human Rights are known and protected, not abused.

1. Those people and organizations that help uplift Humanity without enslavement or entrapment.  That would mean dignifying the personhood.  (Dignified defined as being worthy, honored or esteemed.)  If we are all made of star-dust and are creations full of potential, then isn’t it everyone’s duty and responsibility to ensure that we KNOW that and even more so, act upon that?

2. Those people and organizations that allow for participation and sharing in life itself and to which encourages an exchange for the benefits granted to them.  Most people are more than willing to pay it back or pay it forward once living from their conscience.  Do you know of such groups and organizations that encourage participation and sharing?  What do you give in return?  How do you help?

3. Those people and organizations that have and use their voice-a voice that speaks loudly for those that have & have not; a passion instilled within them to level the playing field so that all humans know, have and appreciate their God-given Human Rights.

Yes, it may sadly come down to doing actual harm to those that would want to suppress these rights but- – -That is how important Education is– so that the tipping point of using destruction can be averted if at all possible.

Are there effective and enlightened humans and groups of humans working either by themselves or together in unison to achieve the aims of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights?

Are there effective materials and tools one can find and use to help enlighten others?

Yes, there are.

Study to show yourselves approved.

Being Great-ful

I’m sitting here early this morning knowing that it is time to write…time to put my thoughts out there in the internet world.  Here at our home place, we’ve been without running water for almost a week.  It’s not been easy.  Have had to buy large quantities of water jugs and containers, refilling water jugs, and carrying water  (my husband doing that part)…and this just brought back remembrances of long ago having to do the same.  Life was hard then…lots of effort just to survive.  This has lead me to consider:

Some people in the world now do not have running water.  Some people do not have access to fresh water each day.  This can all be changed, too.  It starts with people caring and sharing what they know, their resources, time and talent.

Here’s an idea, really a platform, that is spreading rapidly to  help others.  It’s called One Race United, ORU.  It was developed by a billionaire and set up in a private family trust for years to come.  It’s totally working with the internet and a platform on the internet that is secure and safe, unlike no other.  The idea is that people share and participate to help others besides themselves.  Get enough information to make a good decision here.  If we lift ourselves up by helping others, it gives us purpose.  I call it a great-ful attitude.

ORU is really just in its baby stages and growing fast but has the potential to change the world.  How?  Each time a premium member logs on, participates in the social media aspect like we do already on facebook, points are accrued. Points are assigned a value.  Each time a member helps another to participate and share, they are benefited, too.  The more participating the merrier!  There are discounts in the platform for Rx and travel, too. And this especially works well with those that are unbankable as a VISA debit card (for a one time modest fee) is applied for and gotten as a mode of buying and selling things on this platform.  These folks are then able to earn benefits, get discounts, buy and spend the ORU currency, and build a better future for themselves and their community-all for $5.95 a month.  34 ORU Explained Paradigm Shift2

What is Oru and it’s benefits?

How does one get benefits for sharing and participating in this trust?  How does one help others?  Here’s a start-go to this video and watch it.  Then contact me.  I’m here.

Some additional facts: Encryption at 2048 bits is impossible to hack. 5 Quantum computers system locations, email, social media, 194,000,000 hack attempts in one week with zero success. free stores for products and services, discounts on health, travel and more, no data collection, free guaranteed VISA card approval, transfer money globally with no fee, private and secure video conferencing, complete control by the individual, one user name and password, mobile apps integration integrated to your lifestyle and more to come under one platform.

The Best of Me today

Hi…How are you today?  The Best of Me today will be to listen to others and to actually spend some time talking with them.  To really listen and engage in meaningful conversation.  That sounds like a worthy goal today, doesn’t it?

So, I AM here to listen and to communicate with you in whatever way you desire.  What would you like to talk about?  Is there someone somewhere that you’d like to talk to but can’t for some reason?  I think we can bring a lot of healing in the world if we but COMMUNICATE meaningfully with each other.

I hope to hear from you today…drop me a line and I’ll be ready to communicate with you on anything. Or give me a call…I’ll pick up the phone.
